Stock prices closed lower in today’s Stock Exchange session, with the market falling below 1,290 points amid low trading activity.

The General Price Index closed at 1,285.65 points, down 0.58%.

Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,296.57 points (+0.26%) and a lower price at 1,283.27 points (-0.77%).

The value of transactions amounted to 45.93 million euros, while 10,947,636 shares were traded.

The large-cap index fell 0.60%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.31%.

Among the large-cap stocks, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Jumbo (+1.88%), Quest (+0.73%) and GEK (+0.61%).

On the contrary, the biggest drop was recorded by the shares of Ethniki (-2.83%), Ellactor (-2.15%), Elvalhalcor (-2.01%) and Eurobank (-1.45%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Apha Bank and Eurobank, trading 2,434,081 and 1,546,621 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by Nthniki with 7.80 million euros and OPAP with 3.78 million euros.

36 stocks moved up, 64 down and 17 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Akritas +15.79% and Kecrops +6.35%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Moda Bango -10.15% and Biogatzoglou Systems -5.04%.
