The table includes the fixed charge and the final supply price of the relevant month, after calculating any discounts. For the transparent information of consumers, the condition on the basis of which the respective discount is granted is indicated.
The electricity tariffs for January, aggregated for all suppliers for domestic and professional use, were published on the website of the Regulatory Authority for Waste Energy and Water.
The information has been posted at https://invoices.rae.gr and includes the charges for the “green” invoices, which are mandatory for all suppliers, with a common formula for calculating the “blue” which are fixed and the yellow (fluctuating ).
According to these figures, charges for green tariffs range from 13.635 to 19.8 cents per kilowatt-hour, while blue (fixed) scales from 14.9 to 36 cents and yellow (whatever has been announced) from 12.653 to 16, 69 cents.
The table includes the fixed charge and the final supply price of the relevant month, after calculating any discounts. For the transparent information of consumers, the condition on the basis of which the respective discount is granted is indicated.
As the Authority points out:
To facilitate consumers in comparing the prices of electricity supply products, the Authority will maintain on its website a potential “Power Price Publication Table”, which will include the prices of special (green) tariffs, as well as the prices of fixed “blue” invoices, i.e. invoices whose price remains constant throughout the duration of the contract, of at least one (1) year, and fluctuating “yellow” invoices.
In this way, consumers will be able to easily and quickly compare the prices of all products from all suppliers.
The consumer can choose the tariff category (domestic, business), as well as the month of consumption. By default, the current month’s special invoices are displayed.
The prices of each month will be posted on the electricity price publication table as follows:
1) The prices of special “green” tariffs will be posted on the board by the 5th day of each month.
2) Fixed “blue” tariff prices will be posted on the board on the 1st of each month. In the case of a new product, it will be added within two days of its availability by the supplier.
3) The prices of the floating “yellow” tariffs will be posted on the board within two days from the day they are finalized. In more detail, the prices of “yellow ex-ante” tariffs (those whose pricing terms are announced before the month of consumption, or at the latest on the 1st day of the month of consumption) will be reflected in the table on the 1st day of each month, while the prices of the “yellow ex-post” tariffs will be posted on the table no later than two months after their month of application (for example, on March 1, 2024, the January 2024 ex-post yellow tariff prices will be added to the table).
