The stock market closed on Monday with a marginal increase in today’s session, while the turnover moved to lower levels. The market closed with a positive sign for the eighth consecutive session, during which the main stock market index total gains of 4.01%.

The General Price Index closed at 1,353.46 units, marking a marginal increase of 0.06%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price at 1,344.98 points (-0.57%) and a higher price at 1,354.71 points (+0.15%).

The value of transactions rose at 76.69 million euros, while 16,160,812 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose marginally to 0.04%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.27%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Viohalco (+3.65%), Elvalhalcor (+2.78%), Mytileneos (+2.35%), Sarantis (+1.73%) ), Autohellas (+1.67%), Ellactor (+1.39%) and OPAP (+1.28%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Piraeus (-2.28%), Motor Oil (-1.84%), Eurobank (-1.82%), Terna Energy (-1.48%), of Quest Participations (-1.43%) and PPA (-1.41%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Eurobank and Piraeus, trading 2,712,539 and 2,629,130 ​​shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by Ethniki with 16.90 million euros and Mytileneos with 10.24 million euros.

52 stocks moved up, 59 fell and 13 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Mermeren +8.14% and Space Hellas +7.89%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Epilectos -9.17% and Lampsa -6.83%.
