Digitizing the process eliminates the time-consuming manual process and visits to the DOU
THE Independent Public Revenue Authority provides from today a new digital possibility to submit a declaration of natural persons who start agricultural holdings and agricultural services for their inclusion in the special regime of Article 41 of the VAT Code, as well as for opting out of it. With the digitalization of the process, the time-consuming manual process and the visits to the DOU to join or opt out of the special regime are abolished, which only indicatively reached 26,000 in the year 2023.
The new decision of the AADE commander, Giorgos Pitsilis, defines the scope, the beneficiaries, as well as the digital procedure for submitting the declaration. The declaration is submitted as a rule throughout the year, through the digital portal myAADEin the path Registry & Contact/Changes of Registry Details/Special status of Farmers.
In particular, users, when submitting the statement, see that the fields with their data appear pre-filled. After choosing their municipality of permanent residence/headquarters, they complete the process and receive the unique declaration number.
