Its controls are sweeping Independent Public Revenue Authority throughout the market to determine if professionals, who are required to use POS, but also to interface with cash registers, have acquired the necessary machines and if they have proceeded to interface with their cash register or have made an appointment for interface until 30/ 4.
The results of the audits show a low rate of delinquency in both TAXIS and street markets.
Specifically, in checks on 1132 TAXIS, only 27 were found without POS, i.e. a rate of 2.4%, which are sent to the Ministry of Development for the imposition of fines of €1,500.
As far as street markets are concerned, 1592 stalls were checked, of which only 102 did not have a POS or had not booked an interface appointment. 6.4% rate, facing a fine for either not acquiring a POS or not interfacing with the cash register.
At the same time, the first 5 fines of €10,000 and €20,000 were launched on businesses with a turnover of more than €1 million that have not connected their cash registers with the POS or have not made an appointment by 4/30.
At the same time, the call center of AADE has caught fire, as more than 2,900 phone calls have been made to companies with a turnover of less than 1 million euros. In a percentage of at least 10% who did not present any reliable justification for not connecting their POS with their cash registers, the baton will be taken over by AADE auditors, in order to impose non-interconnection fines there as well.
Controls continue throughout Greece.
