DYPA informs that during this period six work subsidy programs are being implemented to create new jobs, covering all age groups and the entire territory, with subsidy rates up to 100% and a total subsidy of up to 17,000 euros per position.

Specifically, there are currently positions available in the following actions:

  1. Employment program for 7,000 unemployed people who face significant obstacles to their integration or reintegration into the labor market, such as mothers returning to the labor market after raising their children, long-term unemployed over 55, unemployed members of single-parent families, etc. The grant covers up to 75% of the salary and contributions for 12-24 months, up to 16,800 euros per new job.
  2. Employment program for 10,000 long-term unemployed people aged 45 and over. The grant covers up to 80% of salary and contributions for 18 months, up to 13,709 euros per new job.
  3. Employment program for 3,000 unemployed people aged 56 and over who completed the long-term unemployed people aged 55 and over employment grant scheme. The salary and contribution subsidy amounts to 715 euros per month for 15 months, up to 8,580 euros per new job.
  4. Employment program for 1,000 unemployed people aged 30-66 in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. The grant covers up to 70% of the salary and contributions for 12 months with the possibility of extension for another 12, up to 17,170 euros per job.
  5. Employment program for 3,000 unemployed people who belong to special and vulnerable social groups, such as People with Disabilities, female victims of domestic or gender violence, people who have completed a rehabilitation program, people released from prison, transgender people, victims of human trafficking, etc. The grant covers up to 75% of salary and contributions for 24 months, up to 16,800 euros per new job.
  6. Employment program for 7,500 unemployed 25-45 year olds who have completed a digital or green skills training program. The grant covers up to 100% of the salary and contributions for hiring unemployed people aged 25-30 for 6 months, i.e. 6,132 euros, and 80% for hiring unemployed people aged 31-45, i.e. 4,906 euros per new job.

The participation process for businesses is simple:

  1. Businesses submit an online application through gov.gr. See HERE
  2. Companies determine the number of positions, specialties and required qualifications
  3. DYPA confirms that the company meets the conditions
  4. DYPA’s employment advisers indicate to the company candidates according to the required qualifications of the position
  5. The company selects among the candidates and makes a hire
