Stock prices ended the last session of the week slightly lower, with the market unable to react for one more session. Turnover jumped to 384 million, due to portfolio restructuring as a result of quarterly changes in the MSCI index.

The General Price Index closed at 1,431.84 points, down 0.56%.

Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price at 1,431.53 points (-0.58%).

On a weekly basis, the main stock index recorded losses of 3.10%, closed the month of May with a drop of 1.15%, while since the beginning of 2024 it has recorded gains of 10.73%.

The value of transactions amounted to 383.99 million euros, while 79,342,022 shares were traded.

The large-cap index fell 0.83%, while the mid-cap index gained 1.42%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of PPA (+3.92%), Viohalco (+3.405) and Ellactor (+2.22%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Motor Oil (-2.40%), Titan (-2.10%), OTE (-1.97%), National National (-1.72%) and Eurobank (-1.13%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 21,893,645 and 19,477,603 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by Nthniki with 62.32 million euros and Piraeus with 40.77 million euros.

53 stocks moved up, 50 fell and 15 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Xylemporia(p) +7.37% and Intracom +6.76%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Progressive -10.00% and Mathios Pyrimaha -4.86%.
