Green electricity tariffs for June were increased by the suppliers due to the rise in the market price of electricity last month.
Specifically, the average price on the Energy Exchange in May was 81.08 euros per megawatt hour compared to 60.11 euros per megawatt hour in April.
The cheapest green tariff for the current month is hers PPC, which increased the discount rate to 38%, absorbing much of the increase. Specifically, PPC’s tariff is 11.898 cents per kilowatt hour for consumption up to 500 kilowatt hours per month and 12.642 cents per kilowatt hour for higher consumption. The night tariff is set at 9.976 cents per kilowatt hour.
The suppliers’ invoices as posted on the website of the Regulatory Authority are as follows:

- NATURAL GAS HELLENIC ENERGY COMPANY: 12.854 cents per kilowatt hour.
- VOLTERRA 12.9 minutes per kilowatt hour.

- ELLINOIL 14.85 cents per kilowatt hour.
- ELPEDISON 15.484 cents per kilowatt hour for the first 100 kilowatt hours per month and 17.984 for the following.
- NRG 15.952 cents per kilowatt hour.
- Heron 16.333 minutes per kilowatt hour.
- Protergia 16.422 minutes per kilowatt hour.
- Eunice 16.59 cents per kilowatt hour.
- Zenith 16.927 minutes per kilowatt hour.
