Trading in the last session of the week on the Athens Stock Exchange took place in soft tones, with share prices closing with a slight increase.

The General Price Index has closed to 1,458.37 points, up 0.38%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,462.22 units (+0.64%).

On a weekly basis, the main stock market index registered a rise of 1.85%while since the beginning of 2024 it has recorded profits at a rate of 12.78%.

The value of the transactions amounted to 93.55 million euros, e21,853,853 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 0.58%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.58%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Ethniki (+2.97%), Autohellas (+2.27%), Jumbo (+2.01%), Titan (+1.80%) ) and Alpha Bank (+1.66%).

On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of PPA (-2.50%), Motor Oil (-2.17%), ELPE (-0.82%) and Terna Energy (-0.80%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Eurobank and Piraeus, trading 5,578,498 and 5,144,505 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by Nthniki with 14.05 million euros and Piraeus with 13.84 million euros.

44 stocks moved up, 63 fell and 14 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Ekter +8.40% and Chaidemenos +5.69%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: ELVE -4.76% and Kecrops -4.44%.
