The possibility of digital issuance of certificates is extended LIGHT and in the cases of deceased persons, with the A. 1114/2024 decision of the commander of AADE, Giorgos Pitsilis. With the decision, the notary who prepares the notarial deed of acceptance of inheritance is given the possibility of viewing the rights on the deceased’s real estate and digitally issuing the ENFIA certificate.

In particular, the notary can issue the ENFIA certificate directly from the platform myPROPERTY with his own Taxisnet codes, without requiring the interested heir to have submitted a relevant application to AADE.

Before receiving the ENFIA certificate through the myPROPERTY platform, the notary must have at his disposal the information proving that the person, on whose behalf he receives the certificate, is the heir of the deceased, as well as the relative authorization of the heir to receive the certificate on his behalf.

The digital issuance of ENFIA certificates of deceased persons by notaries is done through the digital portal myAADE (myAADE.gov.gr), in the path Applications > Popular Applications > myPROPERTY > Transfers, Inheritances, Parental benefits, Donations.

With this setup:

*the heirs are facilitated, as they do not need to submit requests themselves through the “My Requests” application, for the issuance of these certificates to the services of AADE (DOU/KEFOK)

*accelerates the drawing up of notarial acts of acceptance of inheritance, as the relevant certificate is issued automatically

*the administrative burden of the AADE services (DOU/KEFOK) is reduced, and the other cases and requests of taxpayers are processed more quickly.

It is pointed out that, for the convenience of heirs, the new procedure can also be followed for ENFIA certificates that have already been requested through the “My Requests” application and have not yet been granted. In order to serve them faster, AADE recommends that citizens who have submitted a relevant request and have not yet received the ENFIA certificate, follow the new procedure through the notary public, in order to receive it immediately.

As the commander of AADE stated, “the new procedure for receiving ENFIA certificates from notaries is another step to facilitate taxpayers in their transactions. It is based on our trust in notaries, who are public officials and our institutional partners. We practically serve the model of modern cooperative administration, for the benefit of the public interest and society as a whole”.
