TAIPED, a member company of the Superfund, announces the launch of a public international tender for the sub-concession of port services and the right to use, operate, manage and exploit the tourist shelter at Spilia, within the central port of Corfu.
The duration of the sub-concession agreement amounts to twenty-five (25) years. The tender process will be conducted in one phase, with a closing date for the submission of tenders on 20 December 2024.
TAIPED owns 100% of the share capital of the company “Corfu Port Authority SA”, which has the exclusive right to use and exploit the fields, buildings and facilities, including the central port of Corfu, until 2070.
The total area of ​​the land zone of the refuge is 7,800 sq.m. while the marine zone occupies 35,000 sq.m. Major projects for the full development of the tourist boat shelter at the Spilia site are underway and are expected to be completed within the next few months. Upon completion of the works, a total of 80 berths for pleasure boats up to 25 meters in length will be created, while the interventions include, among other things, the formation of a traffic network for pedestrians and vehicles, parking spaces, benches and green areas.
