The management of e-EFKA decided today the immediate suspension of duties and the referral to disciplinary proceedings for the employee accused of bribery, condemning the phenomenon of corruption in the most categorical way.

The announcement in detail:

“This incident for which the employee is accused, in addition to its seriousness, goes against the values ​​of transparency, ethics and integrity that govern the operation of our Agency.

The Administration of the Agency remains committed to the ongoing effort to shield transparency and meritorious evaluation in every aspect of the operation of its services.

The internal controls will be strengthened and will continue with rigor, in order to ensure the smooth operation of e-EFKA and to protect the public interest”.

It is recalled that an employee of the National Social Security Agency (E.F.K.A.) was arrested for bribery and breach of duty. In the case file that was formed, her husband is also accused of complicity in bribery.
