The total amount of public funding for Catering and Tourism is increasing at 2.3 million euros and extends the implementation time of the tourism SME support to 45 months.

According to an announcement, the Deputy Minister of Development proceeded today with the signing of two decisions that increase the total amount of public funding received by the Catering and Tourism companies affected by the Covid 19 pandemic, as well as the extension of the implementation time of the Small and Medium Tourism Enterprise aid. and Investment Giannis Tsakiris.

In particular, Mr. Tsakiris’s first decision, the total amount of public funding to be taken by the recipient undertaking from these actions (SUIDANCE OF CAPITAL CAPITAL BUSINESS BUSINESS TOURISM BUSINESS AND CAPITAL BUSINESS BUSINESS APPLICATIONS OP “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPANEK)”, NSRF 2014 – 2020, combined with any other assistance it will have received, in the form of direct grants, tax and payment benefits or other forms such as repayable advances, guarantees and guarantees , in total nominal value, increases from 18/11/2021 by a maximum of 1,800,000 euros to 2,300,000 euros.

With the second decision of Mr. Tsakiris that concerns the action “Support of Tourist SMEs for their modernization and the quality upgrade of the provided services” of the OP. “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPANEK)”, NSRF 2014 – 2020, the deadline for completion of financed investments is extended to 45 months and 132 days in total from the date of issuance of the Integration Decision from 42 months and 132 days in total from the date of issuance of the Decision Integration that was valid until recently. In case the deadline set above expires on a non-working day, it is extended until the first working day.

The Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiadis stated:

“With the two decisions of the Deputy Minister of Development and Investment, we increase both the total amount of public funding for catering and tourism, but also give more implementation time to strengthen the Small and Medium Tourism Enterprises. “With our action, this government proves how much we are really interested in restarting the Greek economy, even in these difficult times.”
