The assurance that is not disturbed because of him of war in Ukraine the government policy for the development of business and her economygave today the Minister of Finance, Christos Staikouras, during a meeting, behind closed doors, with the administration of the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), at least according to an announcement by the body. He added that at the same time, measures to strengthen entrepreneurship and implement investments continue unchanged.
During the same announcement, Mr. Staikouras noted that EU. faces united and with composure the current situation with the war in Ukraine, emphasizing that the country has sufficient cash reserves to cope with the consequences of this period.
The minister also stressed that Greece expects the fiscal and monetary course that will be formed by the EU, in the midst of the war in Ukraine. In this configuration, he added, our country actively contributes.
Mr. Staikouras stressed, finally, that the ports of Northern Greece are now gaining additional development weight and international interest since the Black Sea counterparts have been affected by the war.
The Minister was thanked for his presence by the President of the CCCI, Ioannis Masoutis.
