Following the decision of the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security, Panos Tsakloglou – What other measures are included in the decision
Ministerial decision which includes targeted measures for policyholders and businesses affected by recent catastrophic fires of August 11-13, 2024 in Attica, signed by the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Panos Tsakloglou.
Among the measures, a six-month suspension of the payment of insurance contributions, settlement of debts and an extension of the payment of insurance contributions for those affected by fires, provided that it is duly certified that they have suffered damage to their business premises, through their inclusion in the framework of state aid in the following areas :
i. Municipal Units of Afidna, Polydendri, Malakasa and Kapandriti, of the Municipality of Oropos, of the Eastern Attica Regional Unit of the Attica Region,
ii. Municipality of Penteli, of the Regional Unit of the Northern Sector of Athens, of the Region of Attica,
iii. Municipal Units of Agios Stefanos, Stamata, Rodopolis and Dionysos, of the Municipality of Dionysos, of the Eastern Attica Regional Unit, of the Attica Region,
iv. Municipality of Chalandrio, of the Regional Unit of the Northern Sector of Athens, of the Region of Attica,
v. Municipal units of Marathon, Varnavas, Grammatiko and Nea Makri, of the Municipality of Marathon, of the Eastern Attica Regional Unit, of the Attica Region,
vi. Municipality of Vrilissi, of the Regional Unit of the Northern Sector of Athens, of the Region of Attica.
vii. Municipal Unit of Pikermio of the Municipality of Rafina-Pikermio of the Eastern Attica Regional Unit of the Attica Region
viii. Municipal Unit of Geraka of the Municipality of Pallini of the Regional Unit of Eastern Attica, of the Attica Region.
For all businesses, employers and insured persons who maintain a business establishment or carry out activity in the above affected areas it is provided that:
Overdue insurance contributions for the period of employment until September 1, 2024 are capitalized
The payment of current insurance contributions is suspended for six (6) months, starting from September 1, 2024
The above insurance contributions are paid in twelve (12) up to twenty-four (24) equal monthly installments.
Insured persons must submit a relevant application to the relevant insurance organization by February 28, 2025.
