Stock prices closed slightly higher in today’s Stock Exchange session amid limited trading activity.

The General Price Index closed at 1,437.68 points, marking an increase of 0.35%.

Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,438.87 units (+0.44%).

The large-cap index rose 0.33%, while the mid-cap index gained 1.17%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Autohellas (+3.64%), OTE (+2.53%), Motor Oil (+2.46%), Elvalhalcor (+1, 96%) and Piraeus (+1.49%).

On the contrary, the biggest drop was recorded by the shares of Viohalco (-1.83%), National (-1.28%) and Coca Cola HBC (-1.19%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Piraeus, trading 3,517,302 and 2,331,300 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by Piraeus with 9.19 million euros and Motor Oil with 6.35 million euros.

48 stocks moved up, 40 down and 38 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Xylemporia (p) +5.98% and Intracom +4.17%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Leventeris(p) -9.16% and Papoutsanis -4.96%.
