Following the international sanctions in force against the invasion of Ukraine, the European Airbus suspended deliveries and support services to Russian customers.
The company also cut off the supply of spare parts.
“We are closely monitoring the situation and analyzing the impact of sanctions on our business and operations. We continue to apply and will continue to apply sanctions in full,” Airbus told Panel SA.
The French aerospace manufacturer joins the American Boeing and other giants from various sectors in the face of the Russian war escalation.
Companies like Shell and BP have abandoned billion-dollar deals in Russia, while Volvo, Apple, MSC and Maersk have suspended shipments.
