Banks enter an advance phase in launching personal credit through Pix. In operation since November 2020, the service already allows the amount transferred from the account to be debited in installments.

This Friday (4), Santander joins the model with the launch of the installment credit option for transactions through Pix in the application.

The movement heats up the dispute for Pix key registrations, as not all large institutions have joined yet.

According to Santander, the shopkeeper receives the full payment on time, but the customer can have the amount debited in monthly installments by the bank.

The amount can be divided into up to 24 installments, with 59 days for the first installment to be debited. Fees range from 2.09% per month.

At Bradesco, which already has the credit service via Pix for individuals, the average term is 30 days and the average ticket is around R$ 200. The bank will also issue it to companies.

According to José Ramos Rocha Neto, executive director of Bradesco, the initial period of operation has already shown the model’s usefulness. Itaú and Caixa still do not offer.

More than 90% of people have had credit denied at least once in their adult lives, according to a survey by the analytical intelligence company Boa Vista, with 3,000 people registered on its platform sought by consumers to consult possible debts in their names and to know the evaluation as good. payer.

According to the survey carried out in January, the main reason for the denial, indicated by 43% of the participants, is the low credit score, which classifies consumers in levels of ability to pay bills.

Soon after, restrictions appear in the CPF, for 42%.

The fact of not having proof of income (11%), not having a formal contract (4%) and not having a bank account (1%) was also pointed out as limiting.
