Receivables: Brazilians find cents in consultation with the Central Bank

When the Central Bank announced, in January, that it would release R$ 8 billion in amounts forgotten by Brazilians, the system went offline after the explosion in the number of accesses and only returned to work the following month.

The suspense remained when the query was released again, on February 14: it was not possible to know the value, only if there was money to be recovered or not.

This Monday (7th), the amount that each person or company has to transfer began to be released. Expectations are high, but in many cases, there was little money and there are reports of those who found only pennies forgotten in the banks.

The joy with the amount to be received was great. Just not.

Between March 7th and 11th, people born before 1968 can find out how much they have to withdraw and request a bank transfer. When making the query, the system informs the date on which the citizen must return to find out the value and recover the money.

In the first week of access alone, more than 100 million Brazilians sought to find out if they had money to receive. In the first phase of the program, there is R$ 4 billion for 28 million CPFs and CNPJs.

There were those who were taken by surprise by the information that they have some money forgotten.

The consultation of values ​​occurs in phases, depending on the date of birth or opening of the company, which increases the expectation even more.
