The company’s announcement in detail with the changes in tolls and also what will apply to the devices e-PASS

Following the recent announcement, regarding the handover by the Hellenic State of the Attica Highway to the new concessionaire (New Attiki Odos M.A.E.), on Sunday, October 6, 2024, here is an update on the procedures for the transition of the highway to new concession regime and better user service.

According to an announcement, from midnight on Saturday, October 5 to Sunday, October 6, 2024, the company “Nea Attiki Odos Peracheori M.A.E.” undertakes the exploitation and operation of the Attica Road based on the Concession Agreement from 12.09.2024. Following this, the existing price list of tolls and subscription / discount programs are valid, as they are, until Saturday, October 5, 2024 and time 23:59:59.

From midnight on Saturday 5 October to Sunday 6 October 2024, toll fees per vehicle category, exemptions and possible discounts are now regulated in accordance with the provisions of the Concession Agreement from 12.09.2024.

Specifically, from Sunday, October 6, 2024, the toll prices will be as follows:

• €1.25 for mopeds
• €2.50 for cars (categories 2, 3 and 4)
• €6.25 for small and medium trucks (category 5)
• €10.00 for large trucks (category 6)

In the same context and in order not to affect the smooth traffic of vehicles and with a view to serving and adequately informing subscribers, from 06.10.2024 the new concession company “New Attiki Road Concession M.A.E.” automatically enters into all contracts with subscribers, in place of the Companies “Attiki Odos S.A.” and “Attic Routes SA”, assuming all the relevant rights and obligations from these contracts.

Hence the devices e-PASS (transceivers) and transit cards continue to be used normally even after 05.10.2024, with the transfer of the amounts corresponding to the money balances of the prepaid subscription accounts.
Especially for October 2024, the following subscription plans are maintained:

• Bonus Program: the provision for the 15 free passes in October is maintained.
• Friendly and Business programs: the prices of the first 30 crossings are reduced to Basic Toll levels (see new prices above), with the existing prices of the next 20 crossings (31st to 50th) and the prices of more than 50 crossings (51st and above ) to be maintained as they are today, only for the month of October.

In addition, e-PASS devices are still used in the context of interoperability on the other motorways, while the transponders of other motorways continue to be used normally on Attiki Odos as well.
For technical reasons, e-PASS subscription users who wish to, are requested to renew their subscription account balances by Friday, October 4, 2024, in order to avoid the system being burdened the next day, during the above transition.

Regarding road safety services, the 4-digit Emergency Number 1024 remains in force, where drivers can call and a patrol will be immediately nearby (24 hours/7 days), as well as the free roadside assistance services for safely moving a stationary vehicle off the highway.

Regarding customer service, the telephone number 210 6682222 remains in effect.
