On Tuesday, October 15, the Draft Budgetary Plan (DBP) 2025 was submitted by the General Accounting Office of the State to the European Commission.

The DBP confirms the fiscal figures for the years 2024 and 2025 as reflected in the Draft Budget 2025 tabled on October 7, 2024 in the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the House. In this way, it is also confirmed to the international community that the goal of maintaining primary expenditure within the limits set in the Medium-Term Financial-Structural Plan 2025-2028 is achievable.

At the same time, at DBP all the fiscal measures as announced in the previous period and reflected in the Draft Budget 2025 are included, while the implemented reforms that are in line with European priorities are listed in detail.

Even in the DBP, as a result of the government’s new fiscal measures, the reduction of both poverty indicators and the reduction of relative inequality indicators is recorded.
