Maroussi: Josh Adams announced

His acquisition Josh Adams announced it Maroussi. The 31-year-old guard (1.88m) was released by Prometheus after just one appearance in BCL. He is coming off a busy season with Cedevita Olympia, where he averaged 14.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 29 Adriatic League games. He previously played in the Euroleague with Efes, while he has also played for Besiktas, Malaga and Virtus Bologna, among others.

Josh was born on November 16, 1993 in Parker, USA. It is a classic case of Combo Guard since it can compete both as a Point Guard and as a Shooting Guard.

He studied at the University of Wyoming (2012–2016), where with the jersey of the “Cowboys” he made excellent appearances. In his final NCAA season, he averaged 24.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists.

He started his professional career from the Russian Saratov (2016-17). The following season he was acquired by Efes with whom he played in the Euroleague in 16 matches. In January 2018, he moved to Besiktas. In the 2018-19 season he initially played in the Chinese Shanxi with a score of 26.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists and continued in the G-League with the “Raptors 905”. In 2019 he returned to Europe to account for the Spanish Malaga and the following season (2020-21) he played for the Italian Virtus Bologna. He went on to Australia’s Tasmania JackJumpers before returning to Europe in the 2022-23 season to play for Slovenia’s Cedevita/Olibia where he averaged 14.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists. In the summer, he signed with Prometheus, with whom he only competed in the first matchday of the BCL.
