Mild upward trends are registered in share prices in the last session of the week with the market exceeding the levels of 1,440 points.

The market has completed four consecutive bullish sessions, during which the main stock index recorded a total gain of 2.27%.

The General Price Index closed today at 1,443.57 points, marking an increase of 0.34%.

Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,444.46 units (+0.40%).

On a weekly basis, the main stock market index registered a rise of 1.89%, while since the beginning of the year it has recorded gains of 11.63%.

The value of transactions amounted to 122.46 million euros, while 20,819,859 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 0.56%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.12%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Piraeus (+2.19%), Mytileneos (+2.17%) and Viohalco (+1.94%).

On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of Jumbo (-0.92%), Titan (-0.89%), Elvalhalcor (-0.74%) and National (-0.64%).

Piraeus and Ethniki presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 4,664,162 and 3,387,212 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by Ethniki with 25.35 million euros and Mytileneos with 19.44 million euros.

59 stocks moved up, 41 down and 21 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Nafpaktos Textiles +6.14% and Leventeris(k) +5.76%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Mathios Pyrimaha -8.53% and Akritas -5.26%.
