Share prices closed with a slight increase in today’s Stock Exchange session, with the market completing three consecutive upward sessions, during which the main stock market index registered a total gain of 3.11%.

From the high capitalization, the shares of Piraeus, Eurobank and Motor Oil outperformed.

The General Price Index closed at 1,436.79 points, marking an increase of 0.53%.

Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,437.99 units (+0.61%).

The value of transactions amounted to 145.29 million. euros, while 37,008,503 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 0.63%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.43%.

Of the large-cap stocks, the biggest gains were recorded by the shares of Piraeus (+3.82%), Eurobank (+2.47%), Motor Oil (+2.35%) and Elvalhalcor (+1, 80%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of OTE (-1.52%), PPA (-1.44%) and Mytileneos (-1.40%).

Eurobank and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 10,431,445 and 6,495,522 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by the National Bank with 29.23 million. euros and Eurobank with 22.73 million euro.

63 stocks moved up, 28 fell and 32 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Attica Bank +10.00% and Doppler +7.63%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Xylemporia(p) -8.54% and Kecrops -3.38%.
