Total final consumer spending increased by 1.3% compared to Q3 2023 and was the driver of the acceleration in the growth rate
Development 2.4% was recorded by Greek economy on an annualized basis in the third quarter according to ELSTAT. Growth on a quarterly basis was 0.3%.
On a non-seasonally adjusted basis, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in volume terms increased by 2.5% in Q3 2024 compared to Q3 2023.

Quarterly changes
Total final consumer spending increased by 0.1% compared to Q2 2024. Gross fixed capital formation decreased by 1.1% compared to Q2 2024.
Exports of goods and services showed an increase of 0.9% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2024. Exports of goods decreased by 0.2%, while exports of services increased by 1.3%. Imports of goods and services decreased by 0.9% compared to Q2 2024. Imports of goods decreased by 2.1%, while imports of services increased by 3.9%.
Annual changes
