In issuing a rare “red warning” for very strong coastal winds Wales and south-west England, the Met Office in the United Kingdom announced, as it is expected from the Atlantic storm Dara.

The warning will be in effect from 3am local Saturday until 11am the same day.

As reported, winds of 145 kilometers per hour are predicted which are expected to cause significant problems but also create risks for loss of human life due to the objects that will be carried away.

The meteorological service has also issued a red warning for very strong winds Irelandvalid from Friday night until the early hours of Saturday morning.

Subordinate orange and yellow wind warnings cover the Northern Irelandthe rest west coast of england and its regions Scotland.

Some areas of Wales and Northern Ireland are also covered by a rainfall warning. These include towns and villages recently hit by Storm Bert, which caused overflowing rivers and widespread flooding.
