Specifically, today, Saturday, December 14th shops will remain open until 18.00while they will also open tomorrow Sunday from 11.00 to 18.00.

The stores will be closed on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 December as well as on Wednesday 1 January and Thursday 2 January.

Are supermarkets open on Sundays?

Supermarkets will be open tomorrow, Sunday, December 15, somehow following the festive hours of the shops.

In particular, supermarkets will be open except for tomorrow, Sunday, December 15, and on December 22 and 29.

Supermarkets will open at 11:00 and close at 20:00. This way citizens will be able to get the first shopping for the festive table.

At the same time, in addition to the shops, the malls will also operate with different hours. Specifically, they will open at 11:00 and close at 20:00.

The festive opening hours of commercial stores in Thessaloniki for the Christmas and New Year period come into force today.

According to an announcement by the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce, the stores will operate as follows:

* On weekdays of the period 16-30 December they will remain open from 10 am to 9 pm

* Today (14/12), the next two Saturdays (21 and 28/12), Christmas Eve (24/12) and New Year’s Eve (31/12) will be open from 10am to 6pm

* Tomorrow, Sunday (15/12), as well as the following two Sundays (22 and 29/12) from 11 am to 6 pm

* The stores will remain closed on Christmas Day, Wednesday 26/12, New Year’s Day and the day after (2/1)
