Oscar, Tony and Olivier nominated actor Jude Law has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“Jude Law’s incredible talent and dedication to his craft have captivated audiences around the world,” said Ana Martinez, Hollywood Walk of Fame Producer.

Lo received the 2,798th star.

David Lowery, who worked with Law on “Peter Pan & Wendy” and two episodes of Disney+’s “Star Wars,” and Journey Smollett, the actor’s co-star in his new film “The Order,” were among of participants in the event, which took place six days after the premiere of the film “The Order”, based on real events from the decade 1980.

The actor was joined at the event by two of his seven children, son Rafferty ‘Raff’, 28, and daughter Iris, 24, with ex-wife Sandy Frost. He was joined by his current wife Philippa Coan.

In his speech, Jude Law addressed his family, thanking them for their support as he built his acting career.

“I was very fortunate to have a family around me that lived and supported my passion for acting and filmmaking,” he said. “And some of my wonderful family members are here today. And they know what they mean to me. I love them so much,” he said.

“Some of you here and many, many others that I’ve worked with for over 30 years, people that I’ve learned from and encouraged me, guided me, inspired me, are the reason I have this star, and I want to I thank them,” he emphasized.

Born on December 29, 1972, in Lewisham, London, he showed an interest in acting when he was 5 years old and was cast in the play Saint George and the Dragon. He began appearing in 1987 in performances with the National Youth Music Theater and starred in the 1988 BBC production of The Ragged Child.

His first paid stage appearance was in 1992, in the play ‘The Fastest Clock in the Universe’. He made his film debut in 1994 with the movie “Shopping”.

His first Oscar nomination came in 2000 for his role in The Talented Mr. Ripley”. In 2004, he was again nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor for the film “Cold Mountain”. He has also won many other accolades, including the Laurence Olivier Award and Tony Award nominations.
