Applications for the second cycle of the “Digital Tools for SMEs” Program began today.

Those interested can submit participation applications for the second round of the “Digital Tools SME B” Program on the program’s platform, in order to receive vouchers for the acquisition of new digital products and services, through purchase or lease.

This is a program, which is implemented in the context of the cooperation of the Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou and the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis.

With a total budget of 42 million euros, the “Digital Tools SME B” Program is part of the Action “Digital Transformation of SMEs”, which is implemented with resources from the Recovery Fund. The purpose of the Program is to strengthen the digital maturity of the country’s small and medium enterprises, which are active in a wide range of sectors of the economy. It is underlined that special care has been taken for the areas of the Regions of Attica, Central Greece, Thessaly and Peloponnese that were affected by the floods in September 2023.

It is pointed out that beneficiaries can submit applications until Friday 03 January 2025 at 17:00 and connect to the platform with the company’s TaxisNet codes.

Beneficiaries of the Program are existing private companies, which carry out economic activity if:

  1. They operate in the Greek Territory with a Greek VAT number.
  2. They are active on the date of submission of the application to participate in the Program.
  3. They have not received support in a previous round of the “Digital Tools for SMEs” Program.
  4. They constitute a legal entity (indicative: Limited Liability Company, Limited Liability Company, Limited Partnership or Limited Partnership, I.K.E, Social Cooperative Enterprise, Cooperative) or Sole Proprietorship or practice a freelance profession, and keep simple or double written books.

In particular, the beneficiaries of the Program are divided into 4 distinct categories with different aid rates. More specifically:

  • Notaries are included in Category 1, who can receive a Voucher worth €1,600 for each member who jointly participates in the business applying for financing, with a maximum eligible expenditure of €2,000 for each member and with an aid rate of 80%.
  • Category 2 includes bailiffs, who can receive a Voucher worth €1,200 for each member who participates together in the business applying for funding, with a maximum eligible expenditure of €1,500 for each member and with an aid rate of 80%.
  • Category 3 includes small and medium-sized businesses and freelancers operating in affected areas, who can receive a Voucher worth €990 with a maximum eligible expenditure of €1,100 and a 90% aid rate.
  • Category 4 generally includes small and medium-sized businesses, sole proprietorships and freelancers, who can receive a Voucher worth €630 with a maximum eligible expenditure of €700 and with a 90% subsidy rate.

For example, with Vouchers, the beneficiaries can acquire digital services and software such as personnel management, sales, customer support applications as well as equipment such as tablets, laptops, desktop computers, teleconferencing systems.

The implementing body of the Program “Digital Tools for SMEs B” is the Information Society (KtP MAE).
