The stock market moved downwards, for the second session, retreating towards the levels of 1,450 units. O General Price Index closed at 1,452.80 points, down 0.80%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price at 1,451.33 points (-0.90%). The value of the transactions amounted to 122.59 million euros, while 25,372,957 shares were traded. The large-cap index fell 1.03%, while the mid-cap index edged up marginally at 0.01%. Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Titan (+1.41%), Ellactor (+0.73%) and EYDAP (+0.69%).

On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of Jumbo (-2.83%), OPAP (-2.41%), Ethniki (-1.55%) and OTE (-1.47%). Eurobank and Ethniki presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 9,124,650 and 3,363,971 shares, respectively. The highest transaction value was recorded by the National Bank with 25.73 million. euros and Eurobank with 20.04 million euro.

43 stocks moved up, 55 fell and 22 remained stable. The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Ekter +6.70% and Chaidemenos +4.42%. The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Progressive -9.66% and Xylemporia (p) -8.24%.
