The start of the transmission of retail revenue data issued from 1/11/2024 onwards using FIM, to the myDATA platform through the information system of esendfollowing the completion of the necessary systemic tests, announced the Independent Public Revenue Authority.

Consequently, the universal obligation of businesses to send accounting records of retail income to the myDATA digital platform through business management programs (commercial / accounting, ERP) or the special registration form of the e-book application ceases.

OR possibility of sending the above accounting recordscontinues to be temporarily provided during the first period of interconnection of the two systems, and only in the event that businesses find discrepancies or inconsistencies between their accounting data on the corresponding retail revenue transactions and the data of the Document Types created on the basis of these transactions by the AADE.

In this case, businesses can:

  • cancel the Document Types created by AADE per day and per facility and transmit the correct data as they have been doing until now with the correct combinations of E3 category and designations per case or
  • to correct the relevant data by transmitting debit or credit Document Types or
  • since the correction concerns only the classifications and not values, to transmit separately for these documents income classifications.

It is clarified that if, for any reason, it is not technically possible to classify the types of documents through FIM, the most likely classification is given by AADE.

In any case, in the event that the E3 classifications are not correct or are partially correct, the company may transfer amounts from a revenue code to another revenue code when submitting the E3 declaration without the obligation to transmit a new Document Type.

The competent services of AADE are working to identify, as soon as possible, any inconsistencies during the systematic creation of myDATA document types based on the data transmitted by businesses to esend and, on the other hand, to complete, in cooperation with the companies holding FIM suitability licenses, the technical readiness of FEMs to accept and transmit designations.
