Stock prices closed slightly lower in the last session of the week, with investors taking short-term profits, but with the market holding 1,500 points.

The General Price Index closed at 1,503.73 points, down 0.48%.

On a weekly basis, the main stock market index registered a rise of 1.14%, while since the beginning of 2025 it has recorded gains of 2.32%.

The value of transactions amounted to 127.48 million. euros, while 32,164,268 shares were traded.

The large-cap index fell 0.50%, while the mid-cap index fell 1.14%.

Of the large-cap stocks, the biggest gains were recorded by the shares of Titan (+1.39%), Jumbo (+0.78%), Sarantis (+0.55%) and Motor Oil (+0. 47%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Elvalhalcor (-3.80%), Lamda Development (-2.04%), OTE (-1.79%) and Coca Cola HBC (-1.37%) .

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 9,951,566 and 4,435,289 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by National with 21.34 million. euros and Alpha Bank with 17.27 million euro.

38 stocks moved up, 65 down and 22 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Attica Publications +9.33% and OLTH +8.64%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Chaidemenos -6.25% and Elvalhalcor -3.80%.
