For the inhabitants of the island areas the total subsidy reaches 50 euros (28 cents per liter) and for motorcycle owners to 30 euros in the mainland and 35 euros in the islands.
Unleaded gasoline is subsidized at 22 cents per liter for 60 liters per month. In total in the quarter the aid reaches 40 euros.
The subsidy for diesel will be double. There will be a direct reduction of the price by 15 minutes per liter in the pump only for April, which favors all those who use diesel, while if they meet the income criteria, they will also receive the digital card through the electronic platform, ie they will get an additional 0.22 minutes. per liter for the quarter. According to the executives of the financial staff, the double subsidy is given to limit the increase of the price of diesel, which was higher than that of gasoline.

A total of 23m euros will be given in April to reduce the price of diesel. Price control, especially of diesel, is considered necessary to keep prices in the supply chain.
For the month of April, special purpose compensation of 200 euros will be given to 28,600 operators and taxi drivers to cover the increased fuel costs of the months of March and April.
A total of 5.7 million euros will be allocated for the special purpose compensation of taxis.
It is clarified that the electronic card can be used within the quarter and only once if the consumer wishes.
