The object of the proposed bill is to strengthen and utilize the institutional framework for social consideration real estatewith the aim of cooperating public and private sectors to create a stock of social housing, which will be available in terms of economically affordable, social lease to beneficiaries.
In particular with this bill, it seeks to extend the existing framework and the institutional shielding of new forms of real estate management, to provide incentives and improved processes in the private sector, so as to actively participate, construct and/or renovate real estate in public land, Centers- residential tissue, which has not been exploited or depreciated to date, in order to form a stock of social housing, which will be maintained in use and available to beneficiaries with economic and social criteria.
