The radar of election campaigns should light up for a change that social networks begin to show this month. In March, inflation was the most debated topic on the internet, according to a survey by the .MAP agency with 1.4 million daily publications made on Twitter and Facebook.
This is the first time that the rise in prices has taken first place in the ranking of the most popular subjects since monitoring began in 2015, according to the company.
The conversation about the economy also took a leap, reaching a 28% share among the most discussed topics on social networks, along with politics and well-being.
In March last year, the subject represented only 9%.
The rise in gasoline alone occupied more than 87% of posts in economy.
In politics, the blockade on Telegram, last Friday (18), inflated attacks by politicians and right-wing parties on the minister of the STF (Supreme Federal Court), Alexandre de Moraes. The topic ranked second among the most debated in the week between March 15 and 22.
According to the agency, among the mentions, requests for the minister’s impeachment prevailed.
