There will be no increase in the prices of ferry tickets – neither now nor throughout the summer season – as announced by Syros by Shipping Minister Vassilis Kikilias.

According to the Ministry of Maritime, due to the obligation by the EU, to use all ships from May 1st “green” fuel, which is more expensive, the ferry companies had announced 12%- 15%from ticket prices today.

In order to contain prices and not make the above increases, the government has reduced port fees by 50%. This is how the goal was achieved not to make the increases that would have been in place today.
