The period of applications for free vacations via the DBA may end, but now the process will begin to determine which potential beneficiary will take on the requirement of social tourism and who is not. What will play a decisive role in the choice is the number of molecules that each of those who have applied will gather, and the objections process will be preceded.

However, everything should be finished by the end of this month, as the process is activated – and of course the ability to redeem the checks – earlier than ever and specifically from June 1st.

The process of objections

Immediately, the provisional register of beneficiaries – beneficiaries and the temporary tables excluded on the website of DUIA will be posted.

Participants are informed of the results of the procedure with their own care from the website and the DIPA’s online services/applications.

Those who have filed an online application for participation have the right to submit exclusively through the electronic services of the DBA, a single objection to the results of the provisional registry and the temporary tables excluded within the time limit set by the decision of the Governor and announced on the Website of the DPA.

Submission of objections after the above deadline is not possible.

Participants who file an electronic objection in order to correctly evaluate their objection must:

– to clearly indicate the ratio of the objection and in relation to the reason for rejection (eg incorrect scoring, fulfilling the conditions of participation, etc.) and

– To substantiate their allegations, attaching to their objection by electronic scanning documents.

– Acceptable supporting documents is required in each case, even if it is concerned with self -motioned data, such as income.

Objections not submitted through the electronic services of the DUI website are not examined.

After examining the objections by the Board of Directors. The Commander is drawn up by the Governor the final table of excludes and the final register of beneficiaries, which include the same elements as the corresponding temporary table and the provisional register.

Against the definitive register of beneficiaries and the final table of excluded participants have no right to appeal

The final register of beneficiaries and the final table of excludes are posted on the website of DIPA.

Participants are informed of the results of the process with their own care and the online services/applications of the DUI.

What features give high molecules

Beyond the objections process, however, what will essentially judge who will take the check in his hands is scoring: For participants who, following the check, shows that there is no reason for exclusion, a scoring process is applied by the integrated information system of the DIPA, which will be based on their choice or not to subsidize their stay in tourist accommodation and ferry.

The choice of a beneficiary implies the choice of its beneficial members – if it proves to meet the conditions – and the issuance of social tourism checks through which the subsidy will be made.

The program provides for special scoring for single group and disabled and increased scoring for lower income beneficiaries.

Also, people with disabilities provide for participation each year, entrepreneur and zero private participation in ferry tickets, and they are not imposed if they do not use their checks.

The scoring criteria and the number of molecules per criterion are as follows:

a. Beneficiary Property of Disabled at 50% or more: 50 points,

b. Single property: 10 molecules,

C. Number of minor children (up to 18 years of age): 15 points for each child.
A critical time of subscription of criteria A ‘to C’ is the expiry time of the application deadline.

D. height of an annual total family income, regardless of its source of origin, real and imputed, of the tax year 2023, as follows:

  • i) up to 10,000.99 €: 30 points,
  • ii) from 10,001,00 to 20,000,99 €: 20 points,
  • iii) from 20,001,00 to 30,000,00 €: 10 points,

E. New beneficiary or beneficiary who participated but not selected due to scoring in the Social tourism programs periods 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 of DIPA: 20 points.

Choosing from the scoring process are those beneficiaries who raise the maximum score, until the paying of their beneficiaries of the intended number.

For parents, there is an increased scoring for each minor child. Also, those who have not received checks in the past or have not received a check due to scoring in the last two programs.

As family income It means the annual total family income, regardless of its source of origin, real and imputed, of the tax year 2023.

Minor They are all the children of the family who have not reached the age of 18 at the time of expiry of the application deadline (12.05.2025).

The critical time of the assistance of the disabled and single parentage is the date of expiration of applications.

In the event of a tie in the overall score, the beneficiary who brings together the most molecules in the 1st ranking criterion and, if they coincide, in the next criteria.

Although again, the beneficiary is preceded by the beneficiary who gathers most of the days of insurance/or unemployment days in the years 2024-2025.

For those who are still equal to the process of comparing the insurance/ unemployment days of the preceding subparagraph, it shall apply every year in the previous years until the tie cases are exhausted.
