The Ministry of Finance has joined the approval of 448 applications for the funding of € 83,782,221 by the NSRF Tourism Business.

Investment plans were approved after the completion of the evaluation and integration of investment projects in the action “Enhance the establishment and operation of new SMEs” for the Attica and South Aegean Regions (Transition Regions).

These regions examined a thousand five hundred (1,501) funding applications, with a total public expenditure of 276,277,002.99 euros, out of six thousand sixty sixty -nine (6,669) submitted to action.

The action aims to enhance tourism entrepreneurship and extend the tourist season, through the creation of new very small, small and medium -sized enterprises, which will provide quality services and products internationally, in increasing jobs in Greek tourism and to enhance the prospects of the industry, which is a key pillar of the politician.

In the near future, the announcement of approvals for investment plans that have been submitted to other regions of the country in the framework of the action “Strengthening the establishment and operation of new SMEs” is expected.
