• 0.1% in the Nutrition and Non-Alcoholic Drink Group, mainly due to prices in: bread and cereals, beef, fresh fish, cheeses, fresh fruits, sugar-chocolates-glyca-fries. Part of this increase was offset by the decrease of mainly prices in: lamb and goat, olive oil, fresh vegetables.
• 1.4% in the group of alcoholic beverages and tobacco, mainly due to prices in: alcoholic beverages (non -served), cigarettes.
• 2.7% in the clothing and footwear group due to rising prices in clothing and footwear.
• 1.9% in the housing group, due to increased prices in: rent, electricity. Part of this increase was offset by the decrease in mainly prices in natural gas.
• 0.3% in the recreation-cultural activities, mainly due to prices raising in audiovisual equipment-calculators.
• 0.5% in the hotels-brown-restaurants group, mainly due to prices in prices in restaurants-pastry shops.
• 0.5% in the group other goods and services, mainly due to raising prices in other types of individual care.
2. From the reductions of indicators by:
• 2.4% in the Transport Group, due to a decrease in prices in: fuel and lubricants, passenger transport tickets with
airplane.

The growth of the General DTC by 2.5% in May 2025, compared to the corresponding index of May 2024, mainly came from
from the changes to the following groups of goods and services:
1. From the increases of indicators by:
• 2.6% in the Nutrition and Non-Alcoholic Drink Group, mainly due to rates in: bread and cereals, meats (generally), fresh fish, fresh full milk, fruits (general), vegetables (general), sugar-chocolates-glyca-fries, café-cavities, café-cavity. Part of this increase was offset by the decrease mainly of prices in: olive oil, sauces.
• 1.7% in the group of alcoholic beverages and tobacco, due to rising prices in: alcoholic beverages (non -served),
Cigarettes.
• 6.6% in the clothing and footwear group due to rising prices in clothing and footwear.
• 6.0% in the Housing Group, due to raising prices in: Home rentals, repair and home maintenance,
Home -related services, electricity, gas. Part of this increase was offset by the decrease mainly of prices in: Heating oil, solid fuels.
• 1.8% in Health Group, mainly raising prices in: medicinal products, medical products, medical dental and paramedical services, hospital care.
• 2.0% in the Communications Group, mainly due to prices in telephone services.
• 1.2% in the recreation-cultural activities, mainly due to prices in: small recreation-andnochemicals, entertainment and cultural services, holiday package. Part of this increase was offset by the reduction of prices mainly in: audio and image treatment equipment, constant recreation goods.
• 2.6% in the Education Group, mainly due to prices increase in: Preschool and Primary Education Tuition, Secondary Education tuition.
• 6.8% in the hotels-brown-restaurant group, mainly due to prices in: Restaurants-pastry shops-cafes, hotels-brothel-panties.
• 0.9% in the group other goods and services, mainly due to raising prices in: Hairdressers and Personal Care Stores, other personal items, social protection services, health premiums, other services. Part of this increase was offset by the reduction of prices mainly in: other types of individual care, vehicle premiums.
2. From the reductions of indicators by:
• 2.8% in the transfers group, due to a decrease in prices in: used cars, fuels and lubricants. Part of this reduction was offset by the increase in prices mainly in: new cars, maintenance and repair of personal transport equipment, other personal transport services, plane passenger transport tickets.
