Amending the joint decision of the Ministries of National Economy and Finance, Development and Investment, Infrastructure and Transport and Digital Government, it is defined as a new date of the launch of the Compulsory B2G (B2G’s September 1st Government Electronic Invoice. At the same time, specific exceptions are defined by the mandatory application of electronic pricing.

In detail, under the legislation, contracting authorities and contracting bodies are obliged to receive and process electronic invoices and at the same time the financial entities are required to submit electronic invoices in accordance with the European standard of issuing electronic invoices and issued in the execution of public contracts.

In addition, with regard to the exemplary categories of contracts and expenditure, the case of project leasing contracts concluded between natural persons and bodies of the General Government is added.

Therefore, the cases excluded from the obligation to submit an electronic pricing are the following:

1. Public contracts that fall within the scope of article 148 of Law 4601/2019, and are concluded pursuant to Articles 117A and 327A of Law 4412/2016 (minor value).

2. (A) Public contracts between public sector bodies, which are assigned in accordance with article 12 of Law 4412/2016; (b) contracts between the contracting authorities, which are assigned in accordance with article 247 of Law 4412/2016 and (c) Concession contracts between public sector bodies, assigned in accordance with Article 16 of Law 4413/2016.

3. Other expenses of which is up to 2,500 euros.

4. Other expenses of the General Government, regardless of value, which are described as secret and do not fall within the scope of Law 4412/2016 and 4413/2016.

5. Project leasing contracts concluded between natural persons and bodies of the General Government.
