The stock market was closed on a positive ground at today’s meeting, as the initial mild fluids were absorbed to record short -term earnings. From high capitalization, the shares of Coca Cola HBC, Sarantis and PPC were overwhelmed.

The General Price Index closed at 1,918.09 points, up 0.15%. It is the highest closure of the April 21, 2010 meeting (1,936.43 points). Intra-conference recorded lower price at 1,907.12 points (-0.42%).

On a weekly basis, the basic stock market rose 2.19%, while by the beginning of the year it recorded 30.51%.

The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 180.81 million, with 34,377,473 shares.

The high capitalization index rose 0.12%, while the mid -capitalization index was up to 0.53%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of PPA (+5.24%), Coca Cola HBC (+1.96%), Sarantis (+1.90%), PPC (+1.44%) and Jumbo (+1.33%) recorded the highest increase.

On the other hand, the biggest decline was the shares of National (-2.13%), ELPE (-1.22%) and AIA (-1.21%).

The largest volume of trading was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank with 10,666,250 and 7,481,436 shares, respectively.

Alpha Bank with 33.38 million euros and Nationals with 31.17 million euros.

51 shares were up, 50 downstream and 19 remained stable.

The shares rose the most: Iktinos (+10.28%) and Mouzakis (K) (+9.32%).

The biggest decline was recorded by Frigoglass (-5.17%) and Progressive (-4.29%).
