The chemical services of the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) is undergoing a recall of the Greek market, due to the non -indication of the allergenic “milk” ingredient on the Greek labels of the products.
This is followed by information through the Rasff Early Warning System, according to which the liqueur under the trade name “Mozart” was revoked. The recall concerns packages of 500 ml, with an alcoholic title of 15% or 17% Vol., And includes, among other things, the following variants:
- Gold Chocolate Cream
- Chocolate coffee
- White chocolate
- Pumpkin Spice Chocolate
- Strawberry Chocolate
- Dark chocolate
The products are manufactured by the company “Mozart Distillerie GmbH”, based in Austria, and have been moved to the Greek market by businesses based in Thessaloniki, Kos and Heraklion Crete.
AADE has already requested the immediate withdrawal of these quantities from the companies involved, as they do not carry the compulsory indication of the allergenic component in the Greek language. The relevant checks are ongoing.
And AADE concludes its announcement that “it is recommended for consumers who are allergic to milk and have already purchased these products not to consume them”.
