A two -year sealing of three gas stations in Attica was carried out by the Customs Auditors of AADE, after the detection of pump mechanisms and the input – output system.
Specifically, on the last two days, AADE Customs Auditors, in collaboration with the Organized Crime Division (AIOE) and the Criminal Investigations Division, have carried out targeted checks at five gas stations.
Following the joint audit action, three stations in Paiania, Acharnes and Agios Ioannis Rentis were sealed for two years, while the procedures for imposing fines were imposed, which may reach one hundred and fifty thousand (150,000) euros per station. Then, the disclosure of the offenders will be published.
AADE is going to issue special commands for:
- the interruption of the power supply of stations with fuel,
- the removal of their signals and equipment,
- Informing the competent services on the possibility of removing their license.
In the other two stations, in Athens and Peristeri, additional data were requested, as serious deviations were identified between the quantities of fuel exiting the tanks and those recorded in the pumps.
AADE continues the controls intensively, with the aim of combating any form of delinquency and ensuring transparency in the fuel market.
