Taxpayers required to declare the Income Tax have less than one month to send the document to the Internal Revenue Service. The deadline ends at 23:59 on the 29th of April.
Depending on the type of declaration, it is possible to render accounts in up to 30 minutes.
THE sheet talked to Income Tax experts who indicated what is essential to make the document in a short time.
All of them claim that filling in the declaration in up to 30 minutes is possible for those who do not have so much data to declare.
Specialists also listed what cannot be missing from the declaration and what care should be taken by the taxpayer before submitting the document. The main tip is to have the documentation with you, especially those that prove the income received. This is now easier, as most reports are on the internet.
In addition, this year, it is possible to count on the pre-filled declaration, which brings the data previously informed by companies and service providers to the Tax Authorities. The option, however, is only available to those who have a silver or gold level gov.br password.
“If the taxpayer has a simple declaration, without a lot of data to be filled in, or even if he uses the pre-filled declaration, it is possible to declare the tax in up to 30 minutes. “, says Daniel Nogueira, Income Tax specialist at the Crowe Macro Group.
Renata Soares Leal Ferrarezi, tax lawyer and business consultant, takes a simple step by step so as not to make a mistake when making the IR in 30 minutes: download the program as soon as possible, fill in all the forms according to the data from the income reports, do not forget any income received, be sure to include the dependents’ CPF, inform the assets and review the declaration at the end.
“Although the preparation and delivery of the Income Tax declaration seems complex, it is possible to do it in just 30 minutes. Just follow these steps”, says the expert.
Valdir Amorim, IOB’s tax coordinator, recalls that filling in the declaration in 30 minutes depends on the complexity of the data that must be reported to the tax authorities. “It is even possible to do it in five minutes, but it will depend on the volume of assets, the complexity of the declaration”, he says.
It tells taxpayers that they have the documents and start filling in the complete form, in which all income received and expenses are reported. However, if the worker has only one source of income and few deductions, the consultant indicates that he or she opts for the simplified discount, filling in basic data on income, expenses and assets.
The opinion is shared by Sandro Rodrigues, economist, accountant and founder of Attend Assessoria Consultoria e Auditoria S/S. According to him, the simplified discount of R$ 16,654 replaces the declaration with legal deductions and is an easier way to meet the IR delivery deadline this year.
“If the declaration model is simplified, deductible expenses are no longer a priority, as there is a deduction limit.”
The consultant also states that one of the most important things for those who declare in 30 minutes is to do the conference, in the e-CAC (Virtual Service Center of the Federal Revenue), to know if everything is right with the document, if it was processed or do not.
“The suggestion is for the taxpayer to analyze what was eventually missing and, at that moment, make the rectifying declaration, completing with the data that, in the rush, were not placed”, he says.
Revenue receives 9.3 million statements
Until 11 am this Wednesday (30), the Federal Revenue received 9.3 million income tax returns. The number is well below the tax authorities’ expectations for this year, of receiving 34.1 million documents by the end of the term.
It is possible to fill in the declaration on the computer, tablet, cell phone and online, through the e-CAC. You can also start filling in on one platform and finish on another. This functionality, however, is only available to those who have a silver or gold account in the gov.br system.
