The digital platform for the new Home Accessibility Program, https://prosvasimotita.minscfa.gov.gr/, through which people with disabilities can apply for interventions in their homes, public spaces in their homes and public spaces, is in operation today, Wednesday.

“Without accessibility in the physical space we cannot talk about integration and equality,” said Minister Domna Michaelidou. “Our fellow citizens want to be able to get out of their home, socialize and work with ease and dignity. With the accessibility platform, we are proceeding with a targeted social intervention by finally providing the means needed to form their personal and professional space with functionality and security. Because accessibility is not just a technical prediction. It is a fundamental right and prerequisite for an open and inclusive society, “he added.

Ms. Michailidou also emphasized: “With every such initiative, we are shrinking the distances between the need and the institutional answer. We create the conditions for equal participation and support independent living where it has a real impact: at home and in the workplace. “

According to the announcement, eligible costs include:

● Technical Configuration Tasks,
