Citizens have also shown great interest this year for the Action Thessaly Evros Pass, as shown by the number of applications submitted within three days, for as long as the platform remained open. In particular, applications reached a total of 181,980 until midnight on Friday. Applications for Evrospass are 15,460, for thessalypassa 98,070 and for Thessalypassb 68.450.

The final beneficiaries of the action aimed at boosting tourism in areas affected by natural disasters will be highlighted by electronic draw and the results will be posted on the program website.

The program applies to three destinations (Thessaly A, Thessaly B and Evros) and three times in the year (1: July – August ’25, 2: September – October ’25, 3: November – December ’25). Beneficiaries selected will receive intangible digital cards that can use in the above areas for accommodation, catering (food) and local commutes.

In particular, they are going to be issued:

  • 4.164 EUR 150 cards for Thessaly A (Phase 1: 1,388, Phase 2: 1,388, Phase 3: 1,388,)
  • 4.164 EUR 150 cards for Thessaly B (Phase 1: 1,388, Phase 2: 1,388, Phase 3: 1,388,) and
  • 3,000 EUR 200 cards for Evros (Phase 1: 1,000, Phase 2: 1,000, Phase 3: 1,000).

Action destinations relate to the following areas:

Thessaloniki A: Municipality of South Pelion, Municipality of Zagora Mouresi, Municipality of Volos

Thessaloniki B: Municipality of Lake Plastira, Municipality of Agia, Municipality of Tempe, Municipality

Evros: Municipality of Soufli, Municipality of Feres of the Municipality of Alexandroupolis.

The platform vouchers.gov.gr will remain open for applications from Wednesday 23 July until Friday, July 25, 2025.

For 2025, the action has a total budget of approximately EUR 2 million and will be given a total of 11,328 cards, with the aim of financially supporting tourism activity in the areas of Thessaly, affected by the flooding phenomena of September 2023 and the Evros areas, which were hit by 2023.

Thessaly Evros Pass is implemented by the National Technology and Research Infrastructure Network (EYDITE SA – GRNET), a body of the Ministry of Digital Governance, and is funded by the Public Investment Program.
