Cargo transport in the international market has reached a historic record, according to data that Anac (National Civil Aviation Agency) will disclose this Friday (1st).
The sector reached the highest level for the month of February since the beginning of the historical series, in 2001, with almost 80 thousand tons transported.
The volume exceeded that recorded in February 2020, before the arrival of the pandemic in Brazil, which was 67 thousand tons.
According to Anac, the number of paid passengers in international transport also grew 366% compared to the numbers recorded in February last year.
Nearly 920,000 passengers traveled to international destinations last month, up from just over 197,000 in the same period last year.
