Significant performance are recorded by recorded overtime in the branches subject to Work cardfrom January to July 2025, according to data from the “ERGANI” information system.

Overall, in the seven months of 2025, recorded overtime in the sectors that have been included in the digital work card are increased by 80% compared to the corresponding seven months of 2024.

Specifically, more than 3.5 million overtime have already been recorded in 2025, a number increased by 1.5 million hours compared to the corresponding seven months of 2024.

In July, registered overtime appear by 76% compared to July 2024.

At the same time, all the sectors in which the digital work card is applied are increased.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the highest increase in overtime is again presented in the tourism industry, both in seven -month ( +728%) and on a monthly basis ( +541%), followed by the catering industry, with an increase of +301% on a seven -month basis.

The increase in other large sectors of employment remains particularly important where they were compulsorily integrated into the digital work card by:

Retail: 105% on a seven -month basis ~ 89% on a monthly basis

Industry: 65% on a seven -month basis ~ 25% on a monthly basis
