After 27 years of operation, the Body of Financial Crime Prosecution (SDOE), today, October 6th, casts a curtain formally and essentially.
By joint decision of the Deputy Minister of Finance George Kotsira and its commander Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) Giorgos Pitsilis, all issues related to the transfer to the HRAD of services, responsibilities, credits, organic positions, staff, archives, as well as all kinds of assets and logistics of the Directorate -General for the Prosecution of the Financial Crime of the General Secretariat of the General Secretariat of the General Secretariat of the General Secretariat of the General Secretariat of the General Secretariat of the General Secretariat of the Secretariat of the Ministry of Financial Criminal Crime, are regulated.
According to the decision:
- From today, all SDOE elements are transferred to the relevant AADE Information Systems. - Employees (about 360) of SDOE transferred to the AADE maintain their placement in the respectively transferred organic positions, their employment relationship and their general service until 31/12/2025 and during that period do not participate in travel procedures, except for the event of the Highly Covered Service.
- Pending procedures for appointment of employees in SDOE After 06/10/2025, they will be completed by the AADE, in which all relevant files will have to come in both physical and digital form. The postings and moods, within or outside the Ministry of National Economy and Finance, of the employees included in the table of the decision, shall be kept in force until their expiration.
- SDOE officials who perform audit duties are obliged to deposit with the HRD Management Directorate (IDDD) of AADE, a report signed by themselves and by their boss until 30/09/2025, with a description of the audit objects and the cases handled by the year. Their arrival in AADE.
- The Heads of Heads and Deputy Heads of Organic Units of all levels of SDOE continue to perform their duties in the organic units in which they serve and after being transferred to AADE until 31/12/2025. - The total of the pending audit cases shall be transferred, from 06/10/2025, to the HRAD and in any case, this should agree with the number of cases that have not been finalized, until the above date, to the ELENXIS case management system. The responsibility for the handling and completion of the above cases is exclusively carried out by the officials whose preliminary examinations are pending on 06/10/2025, time to transfer to AADE, regardless of the organizational structure in which they will be included within the AADE and independently of the AADE.
Pending trials
