The first payment of the OPECEPE Under the new, transitional administration, took place on Friday, October 3rd.

As noted in the announcement, “the approval process is now being carried out in the direction of creating modern control and payment services”, noting that “applications for transfer payments to the extremely important primary sector of the Greek economy are being checked, using optimal practices to pay for those who are truly entitled”.

According to the relevant tables with the number of beneficiaries, the amount of aid and the purpose of this aid, a total of EUR 1,648,370 have been given to EUR 4,071.

Specifically:

*To 844 beneficiaries for the aid to cultivate geomiles, the amount of EUR 317,457 was paid,

*In 1,425 beneficiaries the amount of EUR 213,765 as aid for the cultivation of citrus fruits in Chios, Samos and Regional Units of Kalymnos, Karpathos, Kos and Rhodes,

* In 514 beneficiaries the amount of EUR 127,259 as aid for the cultivation of bean, edible illegal and fava of Santorini and

* In 1,288 beneficiaries the amount of EUR 989,889 as aid for the cultivation of Chios mastic.

In the announcement, it is noted that 93 beneficiaries were not paid and their information was sent to AADE for additional cross -checks.

This payment was made in accordance with the European Commission’s regulations and the applicable national regulatory framework, while at the same time the OPECEPE services have been carried out by all the provided for administrative, cross -sectional and on -the -spot checks, marking the start of the new approach of the organization.

In the same announcement, it is noted that “very soon there will be announcements for new payments with priority for Daniel bad weather compensation, especially for the fertile materials, subsidies for feed, for smallpox, and the latest dose, 30% for organic farming, beekeeping.”
